What is the meaning of life?
What is the meaning of life? What I believe to be the meaning of life, at least for me. Is in the context of these two phrases/quotes and obviously my experiences up to this point. “Insanity is the act of repeating the same process and expecting different results” and “There is no reality only the perception of reality” So in that context I come up with this as the meaning of life:”To enjoy life, the first time around; to not wait until one is in the later portion of life to realize you are insane; you’ve worked your ass off everyday up until that point and still feel miserable and insanely expecting otherwise” There is without questions flaws with this phrase because for starts I used English to say it; I would enjoy hearing from you whether in person or online how you believe it is flawed. I implore you. This idea is partially flawed because I have not included this idea: “Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies.” not that I necessarily believe in a soul but I do believe that sharing ‘life’ with another person is much more meaningful and infinitely so.
Texas Proposed Amendment Number 2
Well it seems that 76.79% of the voting population of Texas is ignorant or at least closed minded; as the recent vote for an amendment to the Texas constitution that defined marriage as between “a man and a women” was passed today. It would be best not to view this incident as a lose, more as unwon this time around. I personally view marriage as a largely social substance. Granted there are perks such as benefits through insurance plans via employer. And last rites issues in addition. But at any rate time will permit homosexual acceptance and eventually marriage. We are just another group that the general public view (mostly through religion) as unwelcomed.
